Keeping It All Healthy While Minding the Water Bill

“I love working with plants and have always marveled at the many wonderful choices of structure, foliage and flowers. The possible combinations are endless and exciting.”
I've always received great enjoyment from designing the perfect outdoor space, and pride myself on being able to design a custom space to suit any taste or budget. Some of the many factors I consider in my designs are shaded and tranquil seating areas, appealing garden focal points and a low maintenance landscape.
I am Deborah Rankin, owner of Rankin Landscape and Design. I started my company as a passionate weekend landscaping business out of Toronto's Beach area since 1992. In 2005, I was thrilled to be able to expand my lifelong dream into a full-time landscape and design business. To this day, both my clients and I continue to be constantly amazed at all the changes that can be accomplished in a short time.
For those that share my love of natural outdoor beauty, it comes as no surprise that this is indeed a labour of love. For many, spring and fall cleanups, regular pruning, preparing annual planters, spring bulb planting, maintaining existing gardens and garden redesigns are simply not possible given busy schedules. My crew and I offer these services, and more, to our clients in the greater Toronto Area (GTA) and surrounding communities.
“I love designing with plants, using different foliage colours and textures with an eye to interesting views even when the plants are not in bloom. ”
To me, a completed garden provides a beautiful gardenscape year round, to be enjoyed and shared with friends. Your outdoor space is part of your living area. I encourage you to expand your living beyond your home and enjoy the relaxation that comes with beautiful gardens.
